Source-code ownership depends on the purchased product, accepted proposal and completion of all agreed payments. This policy provides the default position when a proposal does not state different terms.
Custom-built deliverables
After full payment, the client receives the usage and ownership rights expressly listed in the accepted proposal for the client-specific deliverables created for that project. Transfer does not occur while invoices or approved change requests remain unpaid.
Ready-to-use products
A ready product is normally supplied under a non-exclusive licence for the named business or deployment. Purchasing setup or access does not automatically transfer the underlying product source code, product IP or resale rights.
Reusable components
Frameworks, internal libraries, templates, deployment scripts, generic modules, know-how and components created before the engagement—or designed for reuse across projects—remain the property of Deepak Parmar. The client receives the licence needed to operate the delivered solution.
Third-party and open-source software
Libraries, fonts, APIs, plugins, themes and other third-party components remain governed by their respective licences. Their copyrights cannot be transferred by us, and licence or subscription charges may remain the client’s responsibility.
Source-code handover
Repository or source-file handover is included only when the proposal explicitly says so. It may occur after final payment, credential separation and acceptance. Managed hosting, SaaS access or maintenance service does not itself include source-code delivery.
Restrictions
Unless expressly purchased in writing, the client may not resell, sublicense, publish, white-label for third parties, remove licence controls from, or distribute reusable product code. The client remains free to own and use its supplied branding, business data and original content.
Portfolio rights and confidentiality
Non-confidential work may be referenced in a portfolio unless the proposal or a written confidentiality agreement says otherwise. Credentials, private business data and confidential materials are not published.
Written agreement controls
A signed contract or accepted proposal can grant broader rights, including exclusive ownership or complete source transfer. Where it conflicts with this page, that written project agreement controls.
